The leaf blue polyethylene is able to ensure:
- A higher resistance to breakage. Thanks to an innovative polymer mixture, the product is more resistant than 61% compared to a standard leaf.
- Better elasticity. The special formulation of the film improves the elasticity characteristics that are superior to standard film in use by 42%, significantly reducing the '"memory effect" of the fold.
- A higher tear resistance. Despite the reduced thickness, the product has a resistance of 53% higher than the tear propagation than the leaf joint.
- Increased resistance to puncture. The excellent puncture resistance, higher by 80% compared to a standard leaf, makes Blue Sky ideal for poaching.
- Effective protection from steam. The product prevents the formation of condensation on the inside of the constituent elements, creating a barrier to water vapor.
The leaf blue polyethylene serves as a sliding layer and separation between the elements that make up the flooring, reducing friction during the withdrawal or dilation.
Thanks to its vapor barrier, testedfrom the Department of Chemistry of the Politecnico di Torino and the Istituto Giordano, the leaf in blue polyethylene is able to protect the floor from rising damp, phenomena prevent ejection of fragments in the surface of concrete pavements and preserve the roadbed background from percolation of water due to rain or frequent washing.
The superior performance offered by the leaf in blue polyethylene are proven by the CE mark to validate compliance with the essential requirements of Directive UNI EN 13984: 2007 on flexible membrane for waterproofing, as demonstrated by tests conducted on the product by the Giordano, laboratory Test notified under Directive 89/106 / EEC (CPD).
