Use
AQUAzip-RDY is used to waterproof before laying ceramic tiles on surfaces:
concrete, cement screed, cement plaster, flooring, ceramic tiles, natural stones inside and
outside.
Preparation of the base
The installation surface must be free of dust, dirt, etc. Any traces of oil, grease, wax, etc. must
first be removed, as well as any inconsistent or brittle parts.
In the case of application over a pre-existing floor, the product is used and ensure beforehand that
the old existing coating is well anchored and clean.
Processing and Application
The first coat of AQUAzip-RDY is affixed to the bottom creating a uniform thickness of about 0.5 mm with a roller
long hair, a brush or spatula. When the first coat is dry and is no longer sticky to the touch, that is,
approximately 1 hour after application, apply the second coat cross obtaining a continuous film and
waterproof in which the thickness of the two hands is never less than 1 mm.
E 'can be embeded in the first layer of product a non-woven fabric where this is expected to improve the
performance in terms of resistance to cracking.
Verify the absence of micropores on the sheath before laying coatings, seal them in their presence with another
layer AQUAzip-RDY.
Wait at least 3-4 hours before laying ceramic tiles.
Warnings
• The first coat of AQUAzip-RDY must be protected from rain for at least 1 hour, the second for 3 hours.
AQUAzip-RDY must be used in its original condition without the addition of other materials.
