WETLANDS
Constructed wetlands is a natural system of purification that allows to refine the pretreated wastewater triggering processes both aerobic
anaerobic, typical of aquatic environments and wetlands. The purifying effect takes place by the continuous operation of digestion and
assimilation of the substances contained in the waste
through the root systems of shrubs, herbs and flowers, constantly lapped by the waters in the appropriate trays
clarified.
The constructed wetlands plants horizontal subsurface flow systems and are constituted by trays containing inert material
(Commonly are used gravel and crushed stone) on which they develop
plant roots emerging. The level of the wastewater in the trays is kept constant by installing a sump
level downstream of the trays and the flow flowing in a horizontal direction. It 'always necessary
foresee upstream of the trays constructed wetlands primary treatment of the wastewater. It is generally advisable in the case of discharges
separate a degreaser for gray water and an Imhoff tank for water
black, while in the case of discharges joint is preferable to a hot tricamerale.
SPECIFICATION
Trays waterproof recyclable PE (linear polyethylene), 2 m2 and 5 m2. Have inlet pipes and
output with suitable double lip seals made of rubber, forguarantee a perfect seal. Within
of the tray are PVC piping to ensure a uniform distribution of the effluent.
PRODUCT SELECTION
When explicitly stated by the competent authority as appropriate treatment is recommended to use an area of 5 m2
for AE In the case of use for the refining of pretreated wastewater is considered
proper use of an area of 2 m2 per Inhabitant Equivalent.
ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
Proceed generally one to four times a year to clean the primary treatment plants in
upstream of the trays constructed wetlands and organ distribution of the sewage. Periodically check
the proper flow of the wastewater.
